Introductory Post

I am starting this blog for a couple of reasons. First, it is my aim to teach a semester-long course in an economics department on the economics of sexual orientation. At this point, I have parts of classes devoted to particular issues: measurement, the gay wage gap, the division of labor in glbt households. So this blog can serve as a house and organizing pont for various online materials that I find. Secondly, I am fascinated by the Perry v. Schwartzenneger trial that is going on right now and so I thought that such a blog is extraordinarily timely.
